    My longest relationship went like this. When dating it was great, lots of affection, sex and wanting to see each other all the time. Once we moved in together things were good, not as much as dating but still good. Once we had a child things sex was non existent, limited sex, always tired, always busy, stressed, it was all about our child, once we got married she cheated on me... I tried at all stages to be understanding, planning date nights, flowers, treating her well, taking care of things etc. Since getting divorced I have dated, but I find myself pulling back when commitment becomes more as i saw how things got worse the more committed me and the ex wife became. Friends have been in the same situation.

    Dr,Weathers just gave the simplest and most profound explanation of going from ones egocentric childlike ego to ones adult ego which is one of taking responsibility for yourself. The center of addiction is selfishness. I can't really explain why the compulsion to drink happened but I know and feel that at a meeting these people just understand with out judgement.

  • @martharamirezdelacruz5106
    @martharamirezdelacruz5106 3 місяці тому

    This is so twisted because the child is traumatized and brainwashed into believing that the emotionally/physically abusive parent is the "protective parent" and the alienated parent that is a victim in this situation is the "abusive parent." It creates a traumatic childhood that could have been prevented if the needs of the child were put first instead of the needs of the narcissist parent.

  • @martharamirezdelacruz5106
    @martharamirezdelacruz5106 3 місяці тому

    The child ends up with Oedipal complex or Electra complex, abandonment issues, victim/persecution complex, trust issues, drug issues, mental problems, etc. as an adult due to an unhealthy attachment to the narcissistic alienating parent.

  • @martharamirezdelacruz5106
    @martharamirezdelacruz5106 3 місяці тому

    The alienating parent can brainwash the child and alienate the child from people like family members, friends, acquaintances, neighbors, etc that side with the alienated parent. This narcissist parent alienates the support system and might even turn the child against police officers, lawyers, judges, counselors and anyone who disagrees with the false narrative of the alienating parent. Once the child is convinced that there was physical, sexual, verbal and emotional abuse, they treat the alienated parent like s/he is a monster. This can have terrible psychological consequences in the child that can hunt them for the rest of their adult lives.

  • @martharamirezdelacruz5106
    @martharamirezdelacruz5106 3 місяці тому

    I have noticed more FALSE sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse allegations against a parent during a divorce due to parental alienation syndrome. There is a lot of brainwashing and false memories that can damage the children psychologically and as adults PAS can be the cause of all kinds of problems.

    If anyone wants to know if your children will come back to you, they will! My son called me yesterday and told me how much he misses me. He said I think about how u spoke about me graduating everyday, u raised me since birth mom. He said he thought I would be mad at him forever, I said no, a mother's love is unconditional. Your kids will realize the parents manipulation one day. Keep praying and asking God to open their eyes
